All our instructors come from teaching or youth work backgrounds and are experienced in relating activities and challenges to school life.  Curriculum-based courses can be developed with you, and we will work on particular outcomes or learning topics as requested.

High Ropes activitiesOur programmes are designed not only to assist young people with their learning objectives, but also to help them develop into healthy, active and responsible citizens.

High quality outdoor education can help to stimulate enthusiasm, foster independence, aid personal development and inspire learning.

Behavioural support
Not all children will excel in the education system, and we believe it is important to show them different areas where they can channel their energy and feel a sense of achievement.

We regularly work with children and young people who need behavioural support and / or are at risk from exclusion.

The outdoor environment can be a very powerful tool, with courses based around encouraging self worth and calculated risk assessment in young people, realising their potential and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of both themselves and their peers.

We can develop a course aimed to address particular issues for your groups and compliment work you are doing in school.

Teaching staff courses and more
As well as tailored programmes for school groups, we can offer inset days and team building days for teaching staff and programmes for groups or individuals within mainstream groups with additional needs. Lea Green is an approved Duke of Edinburgh Awards Activity Provider, so we can also assist with your expeditions and gold residential opportunities.
