Do you have a licence for civil ceremonies?
Yes, couples can get married in the lounge, dining room or conference room.
What is the capacity for a civil ceremony and a reception?
We recommend up to 70 in the dining room for a ceremony and the lounge or conference room are suitable for more intimate ceremonies. There are a variety of spaces available for receptions and we can be flexible in how rooms are setup to meet your requirements.
What is included in the total price?
Venue hire for a ceremony starts at £2000 for 2018 weddings and includes access to all ground floor rooms – lounge, dining room and conference room. This is subject to centre availability, day of week and time of year. Please contact us if you are interested in our late availability.
Will other events be taking place onsite?
Due to the nature of the centre there may be activities taking place on-site, we would let you know this well in advance.
Is there an area for the bride and her bridesmaids to wait before the ceremony?
Yes, the flat lounge, bedrooms or Meadow Lodge accommodation.
Can a marquee go on-site?
Yes, on the lawn adjacent to the dining room. This would need to be provided by you, we are able to recommend suppliers. We can accommodate a marquee that is 40 x 12 metres in size.
Do you provide in-house catering?
Yes, we can provide catering for both a wedding breakfast and an evening option.
Prices start from £12 for a cold buffet wedding breakfast for 2018 weddings and you are able to make suggestions if you would like something specific.
We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements not limited to gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free and we can include options for children on the menu.

Please let us know if you would like to sample the food we produce when arranging a venue viewing.
We can provide tables, chairs, linens, plates, glassware and cutlery. Chair covers and decorations are not provided and need to be supplied if you would like these.
We can also supply a cake stand, knife and easel for table plans.
Do you have a licence to consume alcohol?
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol or arrange a supplier who is responsible for the purchase of an alcohol licence.
Can we use our own suppliers?
Yes, there is an additional charge for the use of our catering kitchen and dining facilities.
What time are you licensed to host a reception until?
Is there ample parking?
We have 70 hard standing spaces (including accessible spaces) plus field parking.
Cars can be left overnight and collected the next day.
Can we book our own entertainment such as band and/or DJ?
Yes, we would need to PAT test any equipment ourselves.
Do you have a public address system available for speeches?
Can we have fireworks or lanterns?
A firework demonstration needs to be carried out by an authorised company, we do not allow Chinese lanterns on-site.
Can we have confetti?
You are welcome to use biodegradable confetti.
Can we decorate an area ourselves?
Yes, please speak with us about when you would like to arrive and we can let you know when the decorations will need to be taken down.
Do you provide overnight accommodation?
Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Is the venue dog friendly?
We welcome assistance dogs on-site.
Is the venue accessible?
There are accessible parking spaces, pathways and all the rooms available for a ceremony are on the ground floor. We also have accessible accommodation on-site called Meadow Lodge.
