We understand that planning a wedding can be a little stressful, so we have put together some frequently asked questions, to make your planning process that little bit easier.

Do you have a license for civil service?

What’s included in the total price?
The price includes access to the main house for 24 hours.

Do you provide overnight accommodation?
Yes. Please contact the centre to further discuss accommodation options.

What are the dining arrangements?
For a formal meal we recommend up to 50 in the dining room, and up to 30 in the meeting room. However, for a more informal meal the dining room can seat up to 70 people, and the meeting room can seat up to 40.

Do you provide in house catering?
Yes. We can offer buffet style meals for both evening meals and breakfasts, which includes the use of our tables, chairs, plates, limited glassware, and cutlery.
Please Note: Chair covers and decorations are not provided by the centre.

Can we use our own suppliers?
Yes. Please feel welcome to source an external supplier, or prepare the food yourselves.

Do you hold an alcohol licence?
No. You are more than welcome to bring your own alcohol, or organise a supplier who must hold a relevant license.

What time is music permitted until?
If you are sourcing an external company to provide live music or bands, a relevant licence must be held. However, if you are organising a DJ, outside music is permitted until 10pm, whereas inside music is permitted until 11 pm.

Can we put up a marquee?
Yes. The flat lawn is the perfect setting for an event shelter or marquee, but these would have to be provided by yourselves.

Is there ample parking?
Yes. We have hardstanding parking spaces for 70 cars, with additional parking available if needed (weather permitting).

Can we have fireworks and lanterns?
No. We do not allow the above due to safety concerns.

Can we have confetti?
Yes. We would prefer it to be biodegradable.

Can we decorate an area ourselves?
Yes. We do ask that decorations are not attached to any leather or wood panels.

Is the venue dog friendly?
We welcome assistance dogs only.

Is the venue accessible?
There are disabled parking bays on-site, and rooms available for the ceremony take place on the ground floor.

Will other events be taking place onsite?
Due to the nature of the centre, there may be activities taking place with other groups, but we would let you know of this in advance.
